![]() The Clawed Coast has also stolen the one mainland settlement that used to belong to the Broken Lands, because I guess they're just jerks. ![]() But many settlements have been added, reworked, and reshuffled to create new provinces or update existing ones. There is only one completely new province, Ashen Coast, which borrows some regions from Eye of the Vortex. Naggaroth: The bits that were in Mortal Empires have not changed hardly at all, but it has been expanded Westward and now features a full West Coast. However, it has also gained multiple settlements, including splitting of Yvresse into Northern and Southern portions as it was in Eye of the Vortex. Ulthuan: The donut has been squished, making it slightly smaller in land area than it was in Mortal Empires but closer to its lore accurate shape. Overall, I believe this is a net increase in settlement density. Kislev: The three major cities have been split off as their own provinces, like in Realms of Chaos, and the Northern Oblast has been eaten by Troll Country, which was feeling lonely after Erengard left it alone with just one settlement. You can see here with the ME map overlayed, resized, and rotated properly how little these areas have changed, geographically. This includes basically all of the Empire, Norsca, Bretonnia, Athel Loren, the Northern Badlands, and quite a bit of Eastern Naggaroth. ![]() If you don't want to read through a huge spreadsheet, let me give you the highlights.įirst off, a significant amount of the campaign map is virtually unchanged from Mortal Empires. Here is a spreadsheet with all of the province data organized and color coded with notes on what has changed since ME/Eye of the Vortex/Realms of Chaos. REMINDER: CA has called this a "very old prototype." They said the same thing about the leaked Mortal Empires map and it turned out to be like 90% identical on release, so I don't expect what we see here to change a ton. First off, I want to thank the two people who made this possible: u/CathayZero for providing the datamined province and region names, and u/Sarquon for turning the borderline illegible datamined map into something that's much easier to work with. ![]()
